Do you want to provide great digital services that meet customers needs? Working collaboratively with services, customers and our technology team we are looking for a new Head of Digital to drive forward and implement our digital strategy. In this role you will have
the opportunity to develop innovative digital solutions to support delivery of the Council’s strategy, improving organisational efficiency and customer experience for the residents of Teignbridge.
We can offer the following:

The ideal candidate:
• Will have experience of successfully resolving complex problems through use of digital technologies.
• Have a good all-round knowledge of technologies and how they can facilitate the improvement of customer and business efficiency.
• Have experience in managing the delivery of digital projects and ensuring they deliver their specified requirements and objectives.
• Have an excellent working knowledge of the digital principles and best practice, and regional and national drivers surrounding digital delivery.
• Demonstratable skills in using and developing solutions within MS365 suite.
• Enjoy solving problems. You love taking on difficult challenges and finding creative solutions. You don’t get flustered easily. If you don’t know the answer, you’ll dig until you find it.
• Will pay attention to details. As far as you’re concerned, anything worth doing is worth doing right, every single time. You stay focused and nothing falls through the cracks on your watch.
• Will have excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) and the ability to adapt to any given audience.
• Will think on your feet. You like learning new things, and you can learn quickly. Work independently and as a team player.
• Will be self-motivated and aspire to make a difference.
• Great leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and coach members of their Team.
